MISS IHECHIOWA 2019…?
YEA!
This is an event designed to unite, entertain,expose and educate the people of Ihechiowa…..so many other villages around us doing something of this nature are not in any way better than us so we decided to bring our people together under one umbrella of love which we interpreted as night of the angels/awards and miss Ihechiowa.
This event will expose the God given talents in us…..it will also encourage the spirit of oneness, give hope to the hopeless, appreciate and honour the sons and daughters of Ihechiowa who are in one way or the other contributing to the development of our community(awards)…..
Entertainment in our place is very poor not because we don’t have talents bu2t because we have some how neglected it but through this event, we will give opportunities to musicians, comedians, magic men, dancers and many more to showcase their God given talents by so doing they might get sponsors to help them to stardom.
We also want to use miss Ihechiowa pageant as a bridge between the rich and the poor…..more like a foundation to solve some primary needs of the elder ones in the village who can no longer fetch for themselves and also the children in schools especially bursary and primary who are unable to get at least note books….we also intend to recognize excellence in their academics by given them gifts.
We believe that the people of Ihechiowa will have more reasons to visit home especially during festive period if the event is hosted annually
Most youths know their way to and from Ihechiowa as true sons and daughters of Ihechiowa but they don’t know the culture and traditions of Ihechiowa so we felt it is necessary to teach them and that is why we are going to engage them in learning the do and don’t in Ihechiowa…….so one of our elder man will be there to educate us…..lots of things we are putting together, our prayer is that God will provide us with sponsors to achieve them.
