The Federal Government has proclaimed Monday twelfth and Tuesday thirteenth August as Public Holidays to commend the 2019 Eid-el-Kabir.
Changeless Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Barr. Georgina Ekeoma Ehuriah, who made the statement in the interest of the Federal Government, praised the Muslim dependable on the event and approached all Nigerians, at home and in diaspora, “to utilize the time of the current year’s Eid-il-Kabir festivity to grasp the temperances of affection, lowliness, harmony and penance as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Mohammed”.
She asked Nigerians to avoid any type of troublesome propensities and hold hands with the Federal Government to assemble a tranquil, solid and joined Nigeria in order to accomplish an advantageous Next Level of development and advancement.
Barr. Ehuriah reaffirmed the assurance of the President Muhammadu Buhari drove organization to secure the lives and properties of Nigerians, including that Security Agencies under the Ministry have been coordinated to guarantee the arrangement of satisfactory security, previously, during and after the Eid-il-Kabir festivities.
